The Open Air Club - Liverpool University's Hillwalking Club

Welcome to the Open Air Club!

We are the University of Liverpool's Walking Club, touring the hills and pubs of England, Wales, and Scotland in search of views, fresh air, sheep and alcoholic refreshment.

We run walks for all abilities most weekends during term time, including several weekends away, and longer trips in the Christmas holiday and summer term. We also like to tour Liverpool a lot, finding various drinking establishments and sources of entertainment on Tuesday evenings for our socials!

OAC 75TH ANNIVERSARY!

The Open Air Club is celebrating it 75th Anniversary on the 16th March with a meal at the Marriot Hotel in Liverpool. Find out more here about how to get your tickets for this not-to-be-missed event!

THE FUTURE OF THE OAC
Following the recent restrictions put in place by the Liverpool Guild of Students it has been decided that the best way forward is to look into a possible merger with the Liverpool Univeristy Mountaineering Club (LUMC). Find out more about these decisions here.
